In honor of International Women's Day in March, Defined.ai is celebrating all month long through a series on "Queens of Tech: women who are leading the push for equality and inclusivity in the tech industry, simply by being themselves." If you'd like to support those who have (had) breast cancer, bring a $5 donation or gift card to places, like a spa, to our next general meeting. Some action steps you can take are reminding yourself and friends to check for breast cancer and take mammograms. This is not just for the month of November, but a lifetime thing! Early detection is crucial.

November 25 – December 10, 2020 and throughout the year.
16 Days is a "concentrated burst of energy" that kicks off the shift from "16 to 365."

This campaign is "a tool that anyone can adapt to their local context."
Use the 16 Days website's to launch your own local campaign or to be a stronger advocate. Utilize your own platforms, such as social media or schools and clubs, to contribute to this effort.
To continue to call for the ratification of C190. It is also a dedicated effort to help "ensure the dignity, safety, well-being, and human rights of women workers," this year especially that of informal female workers "whose lives and livelihoods have been acutely impacted by COVID-19 and the unprecedented economic crisis that has followed."
